Vegetarian Duck with Apricot Sauce

Serves 2

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices Sayur Vegetarian Duck (defrosted)
  • 10g roasted sesame seeds
  • Coriander
  • 50mL Olive oil
  • Sauce:
  • 125 mL peach or apricot
  • preserved
  • 60mL vinegar
  • 10g grated ginger

Method:

  1. Pan fry Sayur Vegetarian Duck in oil in medium heat for 2 mins or until outer skin is crispy.
  2. Slice pan fried Sayur Vegetarian Duck into 1cm slices and place on dish.
  3. To prepare dressing, mix all ingredients in a saucepan. Simmer in low heat, stirring frequently up to 2 mins.
  4. Pour dressing over Sayur Vegetarian Duck.
  5. Sprinkle roasted sesame seeds and garnish with coriander. Serve warm with rice.
